Our Mission Statement
We aim to improve the quality of life for older people and their carers. We seek to ensure that they maintain their self-respect and independence and enjoy freedom of choice and equal opportunities. We work locally with older people and provide information, education and services. We aim to raise awareness of older people’s issues and influence policy at local level and, through Age Concern the Federation, at regional and national levels.
Calling ALL Gardeners
The next stage of work is the garden area, this 46 x 30 ft area is a large area with such potential. Diana the manager has got some big plans and now what we need is a team of volunteers to make it happen. If you have an interest in gardening, even if you are new to gardening you help will be most appreciated. This is an opportunity for people to give as much or as little of their time as possible, |

It has been six months since we have moved into The Haven Centre. We have some more work to do but some time to settle in was certainly needed. I have heard nothing but positive thing and people seem really happy.
